Project focus: Financial technology (Fintech) and corporate services, specializing in financial licensing, company registration, and banking solutions. This is a corporate website. Region: The primary target regions are the UK, USA, European Union, and Canada, with additional interests in the UAE, Hong Kong, and Singapore. 

Client’s goal: The client sought a professional approach to search engine optimization. The main objective was to prepare the site for a comprehensive SEO campaign by conducting a thorough audit, identifying existing issues, and developing a structured optimization plan. The goal was to establish a proper internal SEO setup and provide clear guidelines for the content manager.

What We Did:

To create a solid foundation for the client’s future SEO success, we performed a multi-faceted analysis and developed a detailed optimization strategy.

  1. Comprehensive Website Audit: A full audit of the website was conducted, analyzing key technical, content, commercial, and off-page factors. The analysis covered:
  • Technical SEO: Indexing status in Google and Bing, SSL certificate implementation, URL structure (CNC), redirects, and the robots.txt file.
  • Content: A content uniqueness check was performed, which identified the need for new, more relevant articles. We also analyzed the use and structure of heading tags (H1-H6).
  • Commercial Factors & Usability: We assessed crucial commercial elements, including contact information, user trust signals (reviews, certificates), payment details, and customer support features. The analysis also included site loading speed and user experience elements like «breadcrumbs» and navigation buttons.
  • Backlink Profile: An analysis of the existing backlink profile was carried out to identify low-quality donor domains that could potentially harm the site’s rankings.

 

  1. Optimization Blueprint: Based on the audit findings, a complete optimization blueprint was developed to guide all future on-site SEO efforts.
    • Keyword Research & Clustering: We gathered an extensive semantic core for both English and Russian versions of the site, covering high-intent commercial queries related to financial licenses (EMI, MSB, VASP), company registration, and banking solutions. The keywords were then clustered and mapped to the corresponding service pages.

    • Site Structure Recommendations: A revised, SEO-friendly site structure was proposed to improve navigation and search engine crawling. This included recommendations for renaming existing pages and creating new ones to target specific keyword groups.

    • Meta Tags & Headings Plan: We created optimized Title tags, Meta Descriptions, and H1 headings for every key page of the website, designed to improve click-through rates and relevance in search results.

    • Content & Internal Linking Strategy: A technical specification for copywriting was developed, outlining the creation of new content totaling over 51,000 characters. The plan included detailed instructions for internal linking, using specific anchor text from the semantic core to link to relevant pages and distribute link equity effectively.

 

Deliverables:

The client was provided with a complete SEO foundation for subsequent implementation. This included a comprehensive audit, a fully developed semantic core, a logical site structure, and a prioritized action plan. This package equips the client with all the necessary tools and strategic direction to effectively implement on-site optimizations and prepare for successful long-term promotion.
