This case study examines the development, implementation, and performance of an online quiz named «Quiz F-n-zech,» designed to capture and qualify leads for financial services.

1. Objective

The primary objective of the quiz was lead generation and audience segmentation. By asking a series of targeted questions, the quiz aimed to identify potential clients interested in specific financial services, such as asset management, hedge fund registration, or investment trusts. The collected data allows for the segmentation of leads based on their needs, business scale, and geographical location, enabling more tailored follow-up communications.

2. Development Process

The quiz was structured as a multi-step questionnaire designed to progressively qualify the user.

 

Quiz Structure and Logic:

The quiz consisted of a logical sequence of questions to profile the respondent:

  1. Service Interest: The first question identified the user’s primary interest.
      • Question: «What type of financial services are you interested in?».
      • Answers: «Asset management company registration,» «Hedge fund registration,» «Investment trust registration».

  2. Geographic Location: This question helped to segment leads by country or region.
      • Question: «Which country are you currently based in?».

  3. Business Scale: This step qualified leads based on their financial capacity.
      • Question: «What is the scale of the asset management company or fund you want to register?».
      • Answers: «Small-scale (up to 5 million euros),» «Medium-scale (5 million to 50 million euros),» «Large-scale (over 50 million euros)».

  4. Previous Experience: This question identified whether the lead was new or had prior experience with the registration process.
      • Question: «Have you previously attempted to register your asset management company, collective investment trust, or hedge fund in the EU or any other country?».
      • Answers: «Yes, I have,» «No, I don’t have».

  5. Primary Goal: The final qualifying question aimed to understand the user’s core motivation.
      • Question: «What is the primary goal you wish to achieve with your asset management company or fund?».
      • Answers: «Capital growth and investment returns,» «Long-term wealth preservation,» «Diversification of investment portfolio,» «Other».

After answering these questions, users were prompted to provide their contact details (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email) to complete the quiz and submit their responses.

 

3. Design and Visual Elements

The quiz features a clean, minimalist design with a focus on functionality.

  • Interface: The layout is simple, using a white background with black and grey text for readability.
  • Visuals: No complex graphics or images are present in the provided materials. The key visual element is the results dashboard, which presents data in a clear, card-based format.

The collected responses provide valuable segmentation data, revealing a diverse international audience from countries including Germany, Canada, France, China, UAE, and the USA, among many others. The leads’ goals are primarily centered around capital growth, wealth preservation, and portfolio diversification.
